Scott Manufacturing is looking for a CNC Mill Machinist with a minimum of 3 years experience. If you can work independently to program, set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines we have a job for you! Our Machinist work with Fadal mills in a clean modern air conditioned shop with overtime, competitive wages, insurance and paid holidays / vacation time. There is a variety of work from parts for race cars to specialized test equipment and basic machine parts. Most of our work is made from Aluminum but do have regular needs for Stainless, Alloy Steels and Plastics as well. Qualified applicants will have experience with the following:
Machining precision parts from Plastics, Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Alloy Steels
G/M-Code Programming
Cad Cam Programming Software
Set up of tools, fixtures
Blueprint reading
Accurate measurement of machined parts
Good communication skills
Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds and feeds
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision

    A school and many homes in Ocean County, N.J., were evacuated on Thursday afternoon because of several brush fires that were fanned by winds. Some residents returned a few hours later. The largest fires burned about 300 acres around Berkeley Township. Firefighters had about 30 percent contained late Thursday night.
