Position Summary


Perform in-process and final release testing of Drug Substance and Drug Product samples using analytical techniques such as RP-HPLC, SEC, UV/Vis and other analytical techniques.. Write protocols, validate analytical methods and provide reports. Perform stability testing of Drug Substance and Drug Product samples according to ICH guidelines.


Responsibilities


Follow written test method techniques.
Perform in-process and final release testing of Drug Substance and Drug Product samples.
Perform stability testing of samples according to ICH guidelines.
Write and review SOPs, qualification /validation protocols in accordance with USP/ICH Q2R1 and Bioanalytical Method Validation and appropriate reports.
Organize self-activities as required to achieve project objectives.
Recognize aberrant test results and sample conditions and report to them to the supervisor / manager. Assess circumstances and suggest potential corrective action if appropriate.
Coordinate activities related to equipment implementation that are needed to be utilized in future test method validation work.
Order, stock, and receive, label, log and inventory of laboratory supplies.
Provide laboratory support services, clean/maintain equipment and prepare reagents/solutions.
Perform all job functions in compliance with cGMPs and maintain accurate and legible laboratory records.
This position requires the individual to understand and follow written SOPs, record all work legibly and in real time; close attention to detail is necessary.


Requirements


BS/MS degree in life sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc) with at least 7 years experience.
In depth understanding of the analytical methods such as RP-HPLC and SEC performed under QC laboratory environment and be familiar with all basic and some complex laboratory equipment / instrumentation.
Understanding of USP general chapter and appropriate monographs.
Knowledge of GMPs and their application in the environment is required.
The ability to organize his/her own work on a routine basis and work with the team.
The ability to provide updates and tracking reports of his/her tasks.
