NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The husband of a Ft. Drum soldier is accused of braking the arm and ribs of his two-month-old child at their home on the base.

The State Police in Watertown arrested Kristoffer L. Fultz, 30 on assault and endangering the welfare of a child charges.

Police say the incident occurred in his Desoto Dr. home on Thursday, May 30, 2013.
The child is receiving medical care at the Golisano Childrens Hospital in Syracuse.  Police say the injuries are not life-threatening.

Fultz was arraigned in Leray and sent to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Police say that Fultz is not a soldier.  They told the Watertown Daily that Fultz's wife, a Fort Drum soldier, was not connected to the incident and would not face charges.
