On an average week, you will:

    Work with our team to build elegant solutions to complex challenges
    Be involved in all phases of launch cycle, start-to-finish
    Collaborate with our team to devise processes to improve how customers interact with our website
    Develop technologies to improve order fulfillment, vendor communications, and other ways to maximize workflows for our employees

We need someone with:

    Experience writing top-notch code in Ruby On Rails
    jQuery & jRuby experience a plus
    Strong familiarity with SQL, including parameterized queries, subqueries, table joins; PostgreSQL or MySQL experience preferred
    Preference for Unix/Linux as a development and production environment.

We are looking for someone who:

    Is detail-oriented, possessing superior problem solving skills
    Is accustomed to a small company environment
    Is a reliable, humble, and generally awesome person

We are NOT looking for someone who:

    Thinks he/she is above sweeping up or taking out the trash once in a while
    Does not take joy in learning new technologies

Experience:

    At least 2-3 years experience writing in Ruby, or similar languages
    At least 1 year experience with another programming language

    A New Jersey school and several homes were evacuated Thursday afternoon because of a large brush fire that was being fanned by winds.Beachwood Intermediate South School was closed just after 12:30 p.m. Parents were told not to report to the school. The Ocean County Sheriff's Dept. said that all children were going to be safely evacuated to another location.
