Fraud suspect opens store credit card, charges over $4K

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly stole over $10,000 from a woman's back account and later opened a store card and charged $4,000 worth of purchases.

According to police, a woman used a fake California driver's license to gain access to another woman's account at two different Wells Fargo locations on Feb. 19 and Feb. 20.

They say she was able to get $12,100 from the victim's account without her knowledge.

On Feb. 21, the woman allegedly used to the victim's information to open an account at Nordstrom's in Scottsdale. Police say she charged $4,000 worth of merchandise to the card.

The suspect is described as a white woman in her mid to late 30's, average height and weight, with short brown hair.
