Let It Rip: Detroit gas station attack; erasing criminal records

Posted: Updated:
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

A 64-year-old man was beaten and stabbed at a Detroit gas station as other customers just stood and watched.

"People don't care what happen[s] to other people," the victim said.

Plus, some state lawmakers want to give ex-cons a change to have their criminals records wiped clean, but not everyone believes it's a good idea. Our second panel dealing with that issue included McKinnon, John Cromer and Pat Clawson.

And Charlie Langton took "Let It Rip" on the road and asked people what should be done with the $480 million surplus the state recently found.
