Metra Electric Line trains delayed due to car stuck on tracks

A car stuck on the Metra Electric Line tracks on the South Side has led to delays of a few trains on that line Thursday morning.

A car was stuck on the tracks near the Windsor Park station, at 75th Street and Exchange Avenue, according to Metra rider alerts.

This has led to delays of the outbound Train No. 309, scheduled to arrive at 93rd Street at 7:52 a.m.; inbound Train No. 410, scheduled to depart 93rd Street at 8 a.m. and arrive downtown at 8:38 a.m.; and inbound Train No. 408, which was scheduled to arrive in Chicago at 8:19 a.m.

The estimated time of the delay was not immediately known.
