Man Sought For Child Molestation in Altadena

Posted: Updated:
Altadena, CA -

(FOX 11) One minute she was walking home from school, the next she says was being kidnapped.

It is a horrible story that no one, much less a 13-year-old, should have to tell.

It was Wednesday February 27th at about 5:15 in the afternoon when the teen says she was walking home from Elliott Middle School. As she walked down Fair Oaks, she told police that someone grabbed her from behind and forced her into a car.

The man then drove her down the street to the parking lot of a supermarket and there, inside the car, she says he raped her.

She described her attacker as a male Hispanic, black hair, brown eyes, medium build, between 40-50 years old.

The car he used is described as an older black 4 door Mercedes Benz.

It's a horrible story that should never be repeated so if you recognize this guy, or have any information that could help detectives solve this case, please call the LA County Sheriff's Department at (877) 710-LASD.

Step through the doors of Hope's Land of Candy in Island Park, Long Island and you''ll be taking a trip back in time. There's no WIFI but they do have a Victrola piano. And then there's the candy.. lots and lots of it.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
