Freedom Hill Job Fair, Saturday May 4

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (myFOXDetroit.com) -

Freedom Hill Amphitheatre, one of the region's premier outdoor entertainment venues, will be host a job fair on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Freedom Hill.

The company is looking to employ approximately 200-300 people to fill part-time, independent contract positions for work during their 2013 summer season beginning at the end of May and ending in October.

The open positions include:
·    Experienced box office sellers
·    Guest services
·    Event security
·    Stage hands
·    Housekeeping
·    Concessions

Those interested in attending are asked to download and complete job applications prior to the job fair. Applicants must bring both a resume and completed application for consideration. Wages will vary based on the position. The job application can be found and downloaded on the Contact page on www.freedomhill.net.

Freedom Hill is located at 14900 Metropolitan Parkway in Sterling Heights.

    One of the tubes of the Lincoln Tunnel was closed for nearly four hours after a chain-reaction accident involving a New York-bound jitney bus and two other vehicles. Port Authority of New York and New Jersey spokesman Steve Coleman says three people were reported injured in the accident in the center tube at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
