CLAWSON, Mich. (WJBK) -

It started with some teenagers hanging out at somebody's house after school.  There was no alcohol or drugs, but apparently there was sex.

Clawson Police are now investigating an alleged sexual assault that was reportedly captured on video.

"I just want the community to know that we take this matter very seriously, and for certain reasons we're unable to comment at this time," said Clawson Police Chief Harry Anderson.

He limited his comments about a very serious and sensitive investigation.  But Fox 2 has learned it involves three students at Clawson Middle School.  A 14-year-old girl is accusing two 13-year-old boys of sexually assaulting her and recording it.

It allegedly happened after school last week at a student's home.  At that young age, all of these kids legally are not old enough to consent to sex.  Yet it's alleged one of the boys videotaped it.

Fox 2 has learned police have been in contact with the boys, and the girl will be interviewed by Care House of Oakland County.

The school's superintendent confirmed an investigation into possible student misconduct, but declined any further comment.  Much the same as the police chief, who said he doesn't want to compromise the investigation.

"We are moving forward with the case and investigating it to the fullest extent possible," Anderson said.
