FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - A Coconino County couple have been sentenced to probation after photos of their duct-taped young children were posted on Facebook.

The Arizona Daily Sun reports 20-year-old Kayla Almuina could see her felony child abuse conviction reduced to a misdemeanor if she successfully completes probation. The felony conviction will remain as-is for her husband.

Frankie Almuina told jurors he was playing a game with his children when he taped their hands, mouths and feet in December 2011.

Kayla Almuina took photos and posted them online, prompting 1 of her friends to report them to police. 1 of the photos showed their 2-year-old son being hung upside down by his bound feet.

Investigators arrived at the home within hours of the photos being posted online.

The couple spent 59 days in jail after their arrests.
