CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

An extra-alarm blaze broke out early Monday afternoon in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

A second alarm was called about 12:15 p.m. and a third alarm at about 12:35 p.m. for a one-story building in the 6800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, according to Fire Media Affairs.

The fire is in a vacant, 200-by-200-foot commercial building, Fire Media Affairs said.

The vacant building appears to have formerly housed a car wash and auto body shop.

Traffic has been cordoned off on Cottage Grove Avenue and the CTA No. 4 Cottage Grove bus has been rerouted via 71st, King Drive and Marquette, according to a CTA alert.

No injuries were reported, Fire Media Affairs said.

The fire was extinguished at 1:15 p.m., Fire Media Affairs said.
