HARVEY, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

The state Department of Children and Family Services is investigating the death of a four-month-old boy Saturday in south suburban Harvey.

Aiden Fourte was pronounced dead at 6:59 a.m. at his home in the 15200 block of Lexington Avenue in Harvey, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

DCFS is investigating allegations of neglect against the father, department spokesman Dave Clarkin said.

There were no other children in the home and DCFS has had no prior contact with the family, Clarkin said.

A Sunday autopsy was inconclusive pending further studies, according to the medical examiner's office.

Harvey police are conducting a death investigation, spokeswoman Sandra Alvarado said.
