COLLINGDALE, Pa. -

Fighting through tears, Olga Ortiz spent Sunday with family and friends searching for her missing daughter, 30-year-old Melissa Rodriguez.

Rodriguez hasn't been seen since April 18. Friends tell FOX 29 she planned to travel to Newark, New Jersey for the weekend. The family says she was heading to the 69th Street Terminal to take the train to 30th Street Station, where she planned to pick up an Amtrak line from there.

"It's stressful. It's hard because we have no answers. Nobody has seen her," Ortiz said.

The group on Sunday hit the pavement in Collingdale, posting her picture on doors near her home and putting them on windshields in hopes of catching a break.

Collingdale police say they are working with investigators in New Jersey and Maryland.

Her mother says she just wants to see her daughter home, safe and sound.

"Wherever you are at, if you can hear us, just call us," Ortiz said.

According to investigators, there is no record of Rodriguez ever taking the train up to North Jersey.

Rodriguez' husband reported her missing to police after she didn't pick up her kids from school last week.
