ATLANTA -

The National Weather Service says an EF-0 tornado with winds of 85 mph touched down near Moreland in Coweta County during Sunday's storms.

The NWS says the tornado touched down east of Moreland near Martin Hill Road and Windom Drive. They say the majority of the damage occurred off Windom Drive, where Moreland resident Murphy Johnson lives. He described what happened to his land as "a disaster."

It was just after 2 p.m. when the storm raced through his three acres, shredding trees and destroying a shed, a camper and a pontoon boat.

The storm flipped family's pontoon boat upside down, but what hurt Johnson the most was losing his tool shop. Johnson said the storm demolished his shed which was full of wood working and mechanic tools.

He says his neighbor saw a funnel cloud during the height of the storm.

"He seen it spinning when it came down, and he said it lifted up after it got down close to those trees and it went right up," said Johnson.

Looking at the damage, Johnson says he knows how lucky he and his wife are. Neither got hurt and the home wasn't damaged.

"I'm just glad, praise the Lord, that I wasn't in that shop," said Johnson.

Reports of hail came into the FOX 5 Storm Center Sunday afternoon. FOX 5 viewers reported anywhere between pea to golf ball size hail with most of those reports coming from around LaGrange, Newnan, and Covington.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
