NOGALES, Ariz. -

Heroin in bras, meth in underpants? Drug smugglers are doing whatever they can to get their contraband into the United States.

Customs and Border Protection arrested a woman who tried to smuggle about 4 pounds of heroin into the United States inside her bra.

The 23-year-old woman, a United States citizen, was attempting to cross the border at the Dennis DeConcini Port of Entry on Thursday when she was caught.

Wednesday, agents from the Nogales Border Patrol station working the I-19 checkpoint south of Amado referred a commercial shuttle for inspection. They discovered one pound of methamphetamine concealed in underwear worn by an 18-year-old man, a U.S. citizen.

Together, the narcotics have an estimated value of $70,000. The suspects face prosecution.

Earlier this week, four teenage girls were caught trying to smuggle heroin through the border at Nogales.
