WATERFORD, Mich. (WJBK) -

Jim Armstrong showed us his circular for Performance Line Tools in Waterford.  It advertises a great big hooker for $14.99.   That ended up on Letterman.

"He showed a clipping of it.  Evidentially one of our customers turned it into him," Armstrong said.

So what does a great big hooker do beside hook snickering customers?

"It's literally for getting into inaccessible areas to be able to get access to hoses, belts, whatnot," Armstrong explained.

Also in the same print ad were crack hoes.

"We sold out of crack hoes.  The crack hoes are on back order," Armstrong said.  "It's something that you use literally for cleaning out cracks so you can fill it with new material."

Performance Line Tools carries everything, and Armstrong said he could do years of edgy advertising starting with the extra long hooker.
