FOX 32 Sunday: Reporter’s Notebook: Missing Maywood toddler

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The story we never get used to covering leads to a question we just have to ask --- where is Bryeon Hunter? The one and a half year old is missing.

Maywood police say he was last seen Tuesday afternoon. That's when his mother Lakeisha Baker told police that they were walking near this alley at 5th and Main when three men pulled up in a black sports car, beat her and threw Bryeon Hunter in the back of their vehicle and drove off.

Maywood police questioned those men and they have been cleared of any wrongdoing, but hours later, police brought in baker and her boyfriend. Again, Baker said she was beaten. Police are still investigating.

They want to know: where is Bryeon Hunter? What happened to the toddler and if Bryeon was with his mother, why isn't she saying anything?
