Calabasas, CA -

(FOX 11) It's going to be a pooch-tastic day at the Canine Classic Dog Walk & Festival this Sunday, April 21 at the Juan Bautista de Anza Park in Calabasas.

The fun-filled family fundraiser is where you and your four-legged friends are invited to spend the day with lots of activities including demos and mini-sessions from the Zoom Room Dog Agility Training Center and trick dog performances courtesy of Pampered Pet Hotel & Spa.

Grab a bite from tasty food trucks like The Fry Girl, enjoy a brew at the Anza Wine & Beer Garden, let the kids run free in the Kid's Activity Zone, meet & greet special celebrity guests and bid on one of the many cool items in the silent auction.

You can also enter the hilarious doggie fashion show contest and meet some of the most darling dogs up for adoption from many local rescues and shelters including L.I.F.E. Animal Adoption. (FYI: The first ten dogs to be adopted at the Canine Classic will receive a one-year supply of John Paul Pet Products!)

And don't forget the walkathon -- the two-mile walk through Calabasas will include rest stops with plenty of water, food and fun for both pets and human companions. For more info, please visit www.canineclassic.org
