Casting call for young actor in Gosling's 'How to Catch a Monster'

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

A big Hollywood production in metro Detroit is looking for a little star.

Ryan Gosling's "How to Catch a Monster" will start shooting in early May and the movie is holding an open casting call for the character of Frankie.

According to casting director, Frankie is described as a two or three-year-old Caucasian or bi-racial boy. Applicants must be  available to shoot from April 22 through June 21.

Gosling is directing the film which stars Christina Hendricks, Matt Smith and Eva Mendez.
