Suspect Arrested In Theft Of Kids' Computer From Daycare

PHILADELPHIA -

The man who police say was capture on surveillance cameras breaking into a Germantown daycare center earlier this month is under arrest.

FOX 29's Dave Schratwieser first reported the burglary, which happened on April 7 at the Kids Are Fit Day Care Center.

According to Philadelphia police, Khari Jones was arrested in connection to the burglary.

Police accuse Jones of breaking into the center on the 6000 block of Germantown Avenue just before 6:30 a.m. and taking a touch screen computer.

Police say around 9 p.m. Monday, officers executed a warrant for Jones in a home on the 60th block of West Duval Street. Once inside, police say they found Jones hiding inside a closet on the building's third floor.

The 22-year-old faces burglary and other related charges, police said.
