Police Release Mug Shot Of Man Accused Of Stabbing Baby

PHILADELPHIA -

Police on Sunday released the mug shot of a man accused of stabbing a 7-month-old boy.

Police say 20-year-old Samuel Jones got into a physical altercation with the baby on Friday, that left him with a stab wound to his head.

The boy was rushed to Einstein Medical Center by the parents but then was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital in an ambulance, where he was listed in critical condition.

Jones, who is the boy's father, faces Aggravated Assault and other related charges, according to police.
