CHANNAHON TWP., Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

The body of an unidentified female was found in the Des Plaines River, the Will County Coroner's office said Saturday morning.

The body has not been identified, but Joliet police are investigating.

The coroner's office reported the body as being found in Channahon but gave an address of 777 Hollywood Blvd., which is the address of the Hollywood Casino in Joliet.

Joliet police could not be reached.

Authorities have been searching the Des Plaines River in recent weeks for the body of Jeannie Parker, 54, since she disappeared on March 21.

Parker's son, Charles "C.J." McCullum, 21, has allegedly told police that he stabbed Parker and threw her body in the Des Plaines River. He was arrested on a charge of murder and is in Will County Jail.
