DETROIT (WJBK) -

When Taiisha Wagner's truck was stolen, she hoped police would be able to use the GPS device inside to find her car.  However, after several days, her car is still missing.

She moved to a new home on Detroit's east side after her neighbor's home was firebombed.  However, after less than a week in her new home, her truck was stolen.

On Tuesday, Wagner parked the truck in front of her house when she got home from work around 3:00 a.m., but when she went outside at 10:00 a.m., it was gone.

Wagner thought she would get her truck back fast since it was equipped with a GPS tracking device, but it has been three days and she says police still have not found her vehicle.

"I'm not understanding why they still haven't found my truck," she said.

Wagner called the GPS company and police.  The GPS company told her they contacted Detroit Police on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. and again on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.

Wagner worries that the longer her truck is gone, the more damage that will be done.

"I thought they would have been able to recover it by now, but by the time I get my truck back, it will probably be a shell," she said.

If indeed it is a shell, it's something this single mom won't be able to afford to have fixed.

"I just hope there (isn't) that much damage to it," Wagner said.
