The new film 'The Sapphires' follows an Australian Aboriginal soul quartet on their unlikely journey to perform for troops during the Vietnam War.

The film is inspired by a true story and the cast says they learned a lot from working on it. "I had no idea this event had happened," said star Jessica Mauboy.

"I had known about the war in Vietnam but about these four indigenous women going to Vietnam in the middle of the war it blew me away."
