DETROIT (WJBK) -

Here's a message for Detroit's new emergency manager Kevyn Orr: On the city's southwest side, there's an emergency.

Engine 48 of the Detroit Fire Department on the city's southwest side has been without power since Thursday morning.

The alarm system has been broken for weeks.

The back-up generator provided by the city does not work.  A rented one is in use right now.

The station phone is out of service.

Fox 2's Charlie LeDuff has learned that power will not be restored before Monday.
