Family Gets Big Surprise On Good Day!

Posted: Updated:

A six-year-old boy is getting the surprise trip of his young life, just as his whole family reunites for the first time in months.

Easter weekend will be extra-special for Weston Keeton, a brave little boy waiting for a new heart and lungs.

FOX 29 has been following the family's struggle since Christmas. Weston has primary pulmonary hypertension, making it hard to get oxygen to his lungs.

Weston has been in intensive care at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for a year while he waits for a heart and lung transplant, but half his family is still living in his home in Tennessee. His mother and two of his six siblings are here in Philadelphia for him. With this support, Weston is beating the odds.

The Keetons will be going to Disney on April 22nd for the Make A Wish Foundation, but first the whole family came to Good Day on Friday for a big surprise! Watch the video above to see their reaction.

For more information, here are some links to Weston's website, the PrayingforWeston email address or you can join his Praying for Weston Facebook group.
