PORT HURON, Mich. (WJBK) -

An Amtrak train bound from Michigan to Chicago derailed in Port Huron on Wednesday morning.

An Amtrak spokesman says the engine tipped off the rails just after leaving the station. No injuries were reported among the 14 passengers on the train.

Spokesman Marc Magliari says the locomotive was to be disconnected from the rest of the train before passengers could finish their trip.
