Nature center offers low-cost alternative for spring break

PALMETTO, Ga. -

This week on Good Day Atlanta we're helping you plan your spring break by keeping it local and cheap! One place that fits the criteria is the Cochran Mill Nature Center in Palmetto.

Whether it's hiking, visiting the animals, participating in a field trip, celebrating with a birthday party or relaxing by the pond, the center offers plenty to do. It's open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Admission is $3 per adult and $2 per child (3-12 years).

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken is at the center to get a firsthand look at what it offers!
