CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Archdiocese of Chicago's school board wants to bring more students to their schools.

The board has unveiled a three-year plan, amidst Chicago Public Schools announcing their plan to close 54 elementary schools in an attempt to close a $1 billion budget deficit.

The plan includes goals such as launching a fund-raising campaign for tuition aid and increasing the number of students in Catholic schools.

The archdiocese currently serves 85,000 students in 250 schools.
