SEPTA Employees Participate In Dr. Ian's Shredder Nation

Posted: Updated:

Dr. Ian Smith was on Good Day last year to talk about his new, revolutionary diet - the SHRED diet.  He says it is possible to lose 4 inches and two dress sizes in 6 weeks!

What sets this diet apart from the thousands of other weight-loss plans can be explained in two words: everyday accessibility.

Dr. Ian  set out to offer a plan that everyone can participate in.  You can get the ingredients to all the meals at your local grocery store.  The meals are delicious and affordable.  Plus, Dr. Ian points out, you will not go hungry.  On this diet plan, you will eat several meals a day and a few snacks.

This plan be working because his book, 'SHRED: The Revolutionary Diet'  is a New York Times best seller!

This morning, on Good Day. Dr. Ian stopped by with some SEPTA workers who are participating in his SHRED diet.  In all, 42 SEPTA workers got on board and the results are AWESOME!

In 6 weeks, employees lost between 3 to 26 pounds each!  The starting weight for the 42 employees was 7,726 pounds.  They are down to 7,276 pounds for a grand total of 450 pounds lost.

Congratulations!

If you would like to join Shredder Nation and lose weight the right way, join Dr. Ian's facebook page.

Good luck and get SHREDDIN!

Things are looking up for cute little Cami King. Not only is her cancer in remission, she also just got to meet Mickey, Minnie and Elmo in Times Square. But, if you can believe it, there's something else this 4-year-old is even more excited about: Times Square is going gold. The chairman of the Times Square Advertising Coalition announced the crossroads of the world is going to light up in gold to raise awareness for pediatric cancer research.
