Dearborn police searching for driver in hit and run crash

DEARBORN, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police in Dearborn are asking for help as they search of a driver who left the scene of an accident that sent a 38-year old man to the hospital.

The crash happened Wednesday around 8:20 p.m. on Ford Road in the area of Auto Club. Officers say the victim was getting out of his disabled vehicle and was in the road when he was hit by a white sedan. The driver of the sedan then fled the scene. The victim was taken to Oakwood Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
