STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -

Authorities say they have located a 2-year-old girl who was the subject of a Levi's Call issued on Thursday. The child's mother was arrested, according to police.

DeKalb police said that Ariona Shaney Woods was found safe and placed in the custody of police. Authorities said that the child's mother reported her missing early Thursday from the Lakes at Stone Mountain Apartment Homes on West Mountain Street.

A man and a woman who had the child in custody saw the Levi's Call, and drove to the police station and took the child in. That man was taken into custody and the women was questioned by police.

Authorities said that this was not abduction case.

According to police, the child's mother was arrested and charged with making false statements and child endangerment.

Georgia's Division of Family and Children Services is now involved in the case, according to FOX 5's Julia Reynolds.
