Christie Focusing On Getting NJ Ready For Tourists

Posted: Updated:

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie spent Wednesday down the shore checking on Sandy recovery and talking tourism in Atlantic City.

Christie visited with students from the Stone Harbor Elementary School. It reopened last week for the first time since the storm.

The governor then went to Atlantic City for the New Jersey Travel Association Conference on Tourism.

Christie says he'll be focusing on getting the state ready for tourists.

Christie also says the goal is to restore the state after sandy and believes most shore towns in the southern parts of the state are back to normal.
