FOX 5 has confirmed that a Kennesaw State University assistant professor faces child molestation and sexual battery charges.
Atlanta police say 52-year-old Kenneth Charles Robinson rented a room to the older sister of the 14-year-old victim. The teenager says Robinson touched her inappropriately when she came to visit her sister.
Authorities said the alleged incident happened in late November. Robinson turned himself into police in Fulton County earlier this month. He has since bailed out of jail.
Robinson is an assistant professor of management and entrepreneurship at Kennesaw State.
University officials were apparently not aware of his arrest until FOX 5 told them about it on Wednesday. He has been placed on administrative leave during this investigation.
The school said that Robinson violated school policy by not telling them about his arrest.
Robinson's attorney, George Weaver, told FOX 5 via telephone, ""It's a very weak case, and we expect him to be fully exonerated. So, he absolutely denies he's guilty."
