SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -
One day after his appointment as Detroit's emergency financial manager, Kevyn Orr is on a campaign to convince residents he's here to help, not to hurt.
"I don't want anybody to have the illusion that just because I've had some measure of material success in this job that I'm unaware of some of the feeling and texture to what goes on in a very real way in people's lives in this community. I'm very sensitive to that. I live it," Orr told Fox 2's Huel Perkins and Charlie Langton.
Orr and Governor Rick Snyder joined us for a special edition of "Let It Rip," answering some of your questions. Will the mayor or the city council be fired? Will city assets be sold? And what is the first thing he intends to do?
