Do we curse more today than in the past?

Comedian George Carlin originated the list of the seven words you can't say on television.

But that was then, this is now.

In the movies and even bands named after filthy words, we can't seem to escape cursing.

In fact, an Associated Press poll found 74 percent of Americans say they frequently or occasionally come across profanity in public and 66 percent agreed we curse more today than 20 years ago.
