Converged Systems and Stratosphere Networks based out of Evanston, IL, is growing our marketing staff. Our core business is to work with clients of all sizes and industries to sell and support technology solutions. Our marketing team works diligently to conceptualize, implement and analyze marketing campaigns from event planning, email blasts, online marketing, direct marketing, seminars, white papers, social media, and other cutting edge ideas. We are looking to add 2 marketing professionals to our family.

Experienced Marketing Professional with SEO and Web Focused: Our clients work with us to build, maintain and provide SEO consulting and monthly services. Individuals with rich knowledge of SEO and web marketing to assist our current clients to help with current and new campaigns. Work with our sales team to increase visibility to newer clients as well as assist our sales professionals to gain new clients. This individual will work on internal campaigns as well as client facing strategies so the sky is the limit. Increasing brand awareness as well as paying attention to analytics of campaigns.

Content Focused Marketing Professional: We are seeking an individual who has extensive content background for a number of things such as white papers, case studies, testimonials, press releases, social media, new website content, and more. This individual must think outside the box you may deal with topics and industries you aren't familiar with and you need to gain an understanding of a clients business with little to no help other than research and analysis.

Salary (range based on experience and position): $32,000-$65,000

    A NYPD plan intended to better connect with the community seems to have backfired a bit. The police department asked its twitter followers to share pictures of themselves with New York City police officers using the hashtag "myNYPD." Some did share nice pictures, but others not so much.Some of the first pictures posted showed regular citizens standing with very friendly looking police officers.

    Caesars Entertainment entered the competition to open a casino in upstate New York on Tuesday with a proposal to build a $750 million complex 50 miles north of New York City. The complex would include a casino, a hotel and a meeting space and would be located in Woodbury, in Orange County. The Las Vegas-based Caesars, which operates 52 casinos around the world, has submitted a $1 million casino license application fee to state gambling regulators.
