Posted: Updated:

Officials in Scottsdale say they've identified the location of a water main break that created a sinkhole at the intersection of Pima and Pinnacle Peak roads on Thursday.

Repair crews are working around the clock and anticipate the water line to be repaired by Friday night.

Road repairs are expected to be completed over the weekend with the intersection reopening on Monday morning.

No injuries were reported, but authorities say one vehicle reportedly was damaged while driving through the area.

Traffic restrictions:

One lane just south of Happy Valley Road and will be diverted to westbound Pinnacle Peak Road.

One lane just south of Pinnacle Peak Road and will reopen to three lanes after the intersection.

Eastbound on Pinnacle Peak is closed to through traffic. Lanes are open for normal flow of traffic east of the intersection of Pinnacle Peak and Pima Road.

Westbound on Pinnacle Peak is closed to through traffic. Traffic is being diverted to northbound Pima Road.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
