The 13th Annual Toast of Hockeytown presented by ITC Holdings Corp. will be held on Monday, March 18, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. The event benefits the Detroit Red Wings Foundation and will take place on the covered ice of Joe Louis Arena. Only 500 tickets are available to this exclusive event.
1 Brie Cheese Wheel 1 - Cup Dried Figs 1 - Pint fresh Strawberries ½ - cup Balsamic Vinegar ½ - Sugar 1 - Tablespoon Butter 1 - Puff Pastry dough Sheet 1 - Whole Egg 1 - Tablespoon Water
Place Butter in sauce pan and melt. Add strawberries, figs and sugar cook for two minutes. Add vinegar cook for one minute or until reduced and thick. Lay out puff pastry sheet take a rolling pin and roll out the dough big enough to fold over the entire brie wheel. Mix together egg and water and brush over pastry sheet Place in oven at 350 f and bake for 20 minutes
