California Lawmakers: Show Us The Money!

State lawmakers are giving the go-ahead to audit state funds, FOX 11 Investigative Producer Heidi Cuda reports.

This latest audit came after multiple agencies were charged with misusing or hiding funds.

The State Treasury controls much of the money used by state agencies, but many agencies also hold their own accounts.

And recent scandals put the spotlight on agencies that cloak millions while pleading poverty.
