Chicago Marathon lottery winners to be chosen Tuesday

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Runners who will be awarded the final spots in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon will be determined by lottery Tuesday.
Officials will pick winners for the last 15,000 slots in the race and inform them of the good news.
The winners have until Thursday to complete the registration process for the race.
About 36,000 people signed up for those final spots. Exactly 30,000 participants secured bibs in the first registration bout, before a system error forced marathon organizers to pick the last 15,000 with the lottery.
