LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Kelly Osbourne suffered a seizure today while filming E!'s "Fashion Police" and was taken to a Los Angeles-area hospital in unknown condition, according to an online report.

"Entertainment Tonight" reported on its website that Osbourne, 28, collapsed during filming and was on the floor for about 30 seconds, while crew members tended to her with the help of a paramedic who was in the audience.

She eventually awoke and was taken out of the studio on a stretcher to an awaiting ambulance.

Osbourne rose to fame in the reality show "The Osbournes," featuring her father, rocker Ozzy Osbourne, mother Sharon and brother Jack, who was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

The seizure apparently occurred at the end of the taping, with Osbourne sitting in a chair next to fill-in co-host Melissa Rivers, according to TMZ.com. Osbourne told Rivers she didn't feel well, then fell out of the chair and began shaking, the website reported.

Heavy thunderstorms swept through the tri-state on Sunday causing flash floods and lightning strikes that injured 3 people. The three men were struck at Orchard Beach in the Bronx Sunday afternoon and were being treated at a local hospital. Meanwhile, various Labor Day weekend celebrations were interrupted, delayed and even canceled as the U.S. Open tennis tournament had to be postponed and the Electric Zoo musical festival on Randall's Island had to be prematurely shut down.
