Champaign-Urbana named sixth best U.S. college town

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Champaign-Urbana has been named one of the best college towns in the U.S., according to a new list released by the American Institute of Economic Research.
Ithaca, New York was ranked number one on the list. Both Cornell University and Ithaca College are located there.
Ames, Iowa the home of Iowa State University was ranked second, while State College, Pennsylvania--the home of Penn State--came in third. Iowa City, the home of the University of Iowa, came in fourth.
Champaign-Urbana, the home of the University of Illinois came in sixth on the list.
