Arizona's housing bust was one of the worst in the country. But home values are now bouncing back in a big way.
The realty tracking group Corelogic says Arizona is leading the U.S. in year to year gains in home prices.
Home values in Arizona are up about 20 percent.
Here in the valley, home values are even higher -- up nearly 23 percent.
Part of that is investors buying up foreclosures -- but even without those sales, prices are still up about 19 percent.

A car has crashed into a building on 2nd Avenue and East 4th Street in the East Village. At least eight people are injured. Three victims are in serious condition, said FDNY officials. A white colored vehicle that may have jumped the curb and struck the store came to a stop in a cross walk. It sustained heavy front-end damage. There is a large emergency response on scene.
