PHOENIX -

Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly ran from officers during an attempted traffic stop on Sunday night.

Phoenix Police say officers saw a car speeding through a neighborhood and attempted to pull the car over.

The suspect allegedly sped away from officers, throwing heroin out the window in the process.

Eventually the suspect crashed into the gate of an apartment complex near 8th Street and Bell Road.

The suspect is loose somewhere inside the complex.

Police say they have the name and registration of the suspect and will be able to track them down eventually.
