PHOENIX -

Police say two males were arrested after allegedly stealing a car at gunpoint and fleeing from officers early Sunday morning.

A 19-year-old man told police he was approached by two suspects and allegedly robbed of his car at gunpoint near Globe and 83rd Avenues.

Later in the morning, Phoenix Police officers saw the stolen car near 67th Avenue and Indian School Road. There were four people riding in the car.

The officers attempted to pull the car over for a traffic stop, but the driver allegedly fled from police.

A few blocks later the driver lost control of the car and crashed into a wall.

Officers say the driver, a 26-year-old man, and a 15-year-old boy were identified by the robbery victim. The 26-year-old will be booked into jail for armed robbery.

The 15-year-old had a non-life injury and was taken to a hospital. He will be taken to a juvenile correction center after treatment.

One person of interest was taken to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury and the other was taken in for questioning.

The driver's name hasn't been released yet.
