Weekend subway service disruptions

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Several subway lines will have service changes between Friday, March 1, and Monday, March 4, 2013, the MTA warns.

Travelers on the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, C, D, E, F, G, M, N, Q, R, and S lines.

The MTA said that the changes are necessary because of capital construction work on the subway system.  The work is part of its ongoing capital rebuilding efforts to upgrade and maintain tracks, stations, and signal systems, the agency said.

Subway, bus, and commuter rail fares and bridge and tunnel tolls go up this weekend.
