Operation Wedding winners: Ancil & Tamika!

Congratulations, Ancil and Tamika! Congratulations, Ancil and Tamika!

The voting is over, and we're happy to announce that the winners of Good Day Atlanta's Operation Wedding contest are Ancil Christopher and Tamika Russell!   They received the most votes in our poll, earning them a dream wedding at Ashton Gardens in Sugar Hill!

Ancil and Tamika met at the University of West Georgia, and then Ancil was deployed to Iraq.  Years later, they came face-to-face again at homecoming, and their relationship blossomed.  Now, they're parents to a 4-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl!

We'd like to thank each of the couples who participated in our Operation Wedding contest, and everyone who voted.  Here are the complete results of the vote:

Tamika Russell & Ancil Christopher -  79,363 votes(54%)

Xavia Tennant & Nicholas Reid - 45,061 votes (31%)

Jamie Crossno & Peter Nunn - 22,281 votes (15%)
