Metro Detroiters are digging out from the latest round of snow as a powerful winter storm sweeps across much of the Midwest.

The heavy wet snow began falling late Tuesday afternoon and continued overnight prompting school closings and power outages. Long time residents have very different ways of preparing when the weather man says snow is on the way and that includes FOX 2's Ryan Ermanni.

See how he turned to making pizza and even a round of boxing to get ready for the latest punch of winter weather from Mother Nature.
